Mac and iOS private alpha
A safer home for AI-generated HTML artifacts.
HTML Vault imports Capsules, Bundles, and ordinary HTML; preserves the original bytes; previews them safely; records provenance; and helps you decide what is worth keeping, sharing, or publishing.
Artifacts
Safe Preview
Read before you run.
Unknown HTML opens in custody first, with JavaScript and network behavior treated as explicit trust decisions.
What it does
Producer tools make things. HTML Vault keeps them.
- ImportDrop in an HTML file, Capsule, Bundle, or AI-generated artifact.
- InspectHash, scan, validate, and preview safely before trusting interactive behavior.
- PreserveKeep original bytes unchanged while comments, tags, reviews, and lineage live beside them.
- SharePublish exact versions later through registry links, raw downloads, AirDrop, or local export.
Capsule views
Four reusable presentation approaches, one durable artifact.
These approaches belong to the open HTML Capsule ecosystem. Vault’s job is to display them cleanly, respect declared chrome ownership, and preserve the artifact underneath.
Snap
A compact composed screen for quick summaries, checklists, receipts, and “understand this immediately” artifacts.
Feed
A scrolling stack for directories, records, timelines, watchlists, notes, and browseable collections.
Story
A one-screen sequence with tap and timer navigation for narrative explainers, onboarding, and pitch-style summaries.
Slides
A deck-style presentation surface for iPad, desktop, meetings, classrooms, and investor-style walkthroughs.
Project boundary
Vault is not the spec.
htmlcapsule.org
The open format, spec, compiler experiments, validators, fixtures, and reusable presentation templates.
htmlvault.app
The app, viewer, local vault, registry, sharing workflow, review layer, and eventual public/private artifact pages.
Where this is going
Private alpha first. Registry later.
Now
Native Mac and iOS dogfooding, Capsule presentation testing, safe preview, local import, and demo corpus work.
Next
Better Capsule validation, share/import flows, signed local builds, sidecar reviews, and richer mobile presentation handling.
Later
htmlvault.app registry pages, receive links, raw byte-identical downloads, public/private artifact pages, and team review workflows.
